TSU Tigerbelle Dominique Ward Holmes was named Female Athlete of the Championship, as she won four gold medals to lead the Tigersbelles won the Ohio Valley Conference Indoor Championship on March 1. This was the Tiger belles third Indoor title under Head Coach Chandra Cheeseborough (2002, 2003, and 2008). (0) comments
The TSU Tigerbelles heated up the track on Saturday April 12 in the Boston Moon Classic. For the second year in a row it was extremely cold for the event which made it a little unpleasing for the athletes and crowd. Former Flying Tiger and three time medalist in the long jump Ralph Boston was happy with the way the meet turned out besides the weather. (0) comments

With the number 16 pick in the 2008 NFL draft the Arizona Cardinals selected Dominique Rodgers-Cromarte. Cromartie becomes the Tigers first first-round pick since 1974 when the Tigers had two of the first four selections in that year's draft. (0) comments
